Love this place. Super clean. Very friendly service. I loved the lobster sushi. Can't want to go back. Oh, and I love that they are open between lunch and dinner.
I love popping in to support and enjoy Kay sushi. Friendly, reliable service, fabulous fresh and creative sushi, decent happy hour. Would love more food options on happy hour but appreciate that they offer HH on weekends also! Had a sampling of cucumber salad, squid salad, scallop nigiri and yakisoba today. The yaki had a nice smoking of vegetables cooked in. The noodles were thick spaghetti like. I would have preferred Ramen noodles but it was still a great dish.
We ordered takeout here for the first time as I was craving udon and Hiro Sushi was closed for renovations. Their version of udon was not as expected and I was disappointed but the noodles were good. The sushi rolls were nice and had fresh ingredients but the vinegary taste was missing from the sushi rice. Service was EXCELLENT! I have shellfish allergies and always make sure that this is noted in my order. Someone from the restaurant called me and discouraged me from a the vegetable tempura and tonkatsu orders that I placed as the batter and oil used are the same as what is used for tempura shrimps. Kudos to Kay Sushi for paying attention to detail!!!
I love this place. It is a great neighborhood sushi bar that is locally owned. The service is always amazing, and the owners pay attention to details. They take pride in their work and the product they put out. Everything that is plates is visually appealing and delicious. The sushi is good, nothing crazy, but my family and I love it. Please give it this local business a shot!

Kay's sushi has incredibly fresh fish, amazing service and seriously great options for non-sushi lovers. The tom kha is amazing, the fried rice rivals my husbands' (don't tell him) and the noodles are all perfection Sushi we love blazin salmon a sweet/spicy warm sushi fish and the hamachi fire is to die for if you are ok with AZ jalapeno heat. Happy hour specials are amazing and be sure to try the One More Time Roll!!!
Tried Kay Sushi today, super convenient to where I live. It has a lovely outdoor patio with water fountain and bamboo, so pretty. Inside the decor is nice, different shades of green walls and one unobtrusive Tv, which is nice . Some places have so many tvs and the sound is so loud, but at Kay Sushi only my and the sound is muted.. They have a nice variety of rolls and a pretty extensive menu. A nice touch, they serve water with a side of lemons in a small wooden box, little details like this are so nice. I ordered the cucumbers and they weee deckuckus, cold and crunchy. My lunch date ordered got miso soup with his order and it was served which kept the soup piping hot, it also had sliced mushrooms along with the seaweed. We ordered a variety's of rolls and they were quite good. The staff is really nice and attentive. The dress I wore was a slippery materiel and my napkin on my lap slipped onto the floor, the server noticed this and quickly brought me a new napkins. So thoughtful and I didn't even ask for one. I will definitely be back and it's literally less than a mile from home!!
